“El Camino de la Muerte”. The most dangerous Road on the Earth. This is the road from the City of La Paz to the North Yungas region in Bolivia. Bolivia's Death Road is long about 60km stretch of winding road through the Cordillera mountain chain. The road climbs 4650m above sea level at La Cumbre Pass and then a downward stretch toward the Amazon rainforest. If you look off the side of the road, you’re looking down at a 600 m drop into the surrounding forest.
